The Top 10 games of the season

 As the Premier league has concluded with Man City clinching the title after an incredible campaign were we enjoyed a number of thrilling games of which we have come up with the best 10 below.

10 Man City2-5 Leicester

The eventual champions Man City lost to Leicester at the Etihad in a 7 seven goal thriller were City took an early lead through Mahrez but Leicester skipper Jamie Vardy inspired his team with a hatrick and goals from James Madisson and Tielemans

9 Aston Villa 7-2 Liverpool

A nice start to the recently concluded campaign saw a vibrant Villa side put Liverpool to the sword with a hatrick from striker Watkins and a goal from John McGinn in the first half and a brace from Jack Freakish and a goal from Ross Barkley cancelled out Mo Salah's two goals which was Liverpool's worst defeat since 1963.

8 WestBrom 0-5 Leeds

Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United scored four times in the first half against a poor WestBrom which was eventually relegated and another one in the second half to further dip WestBrom at their home.

7 Man Utd 1-6 Spurs

The worst defeat at Old Trafford since Man City's back in 2012. United took the lead through a penalty which was converted by Bruno Fernandes but they were outclassed by Kane whose efforts saw him score and assist Son who grabbed a brace and a goal from Ndombele in the first half. The second half saw Spurs rubbing salt in the wound by adding two goals from

Serge Aurier and Kane's second of the game.

6 Southampton 2-5 Spurs

Spurs second away victory on the list is the game where Harry Kane setup four goals for his partner Son Hueng Min and got a goal for himself at the southcoast cancelling Danny Ing's brace.

5 Crystal Palace 0-7 Liverpool 

The Eagles had an evening to forget at Selhurst Park when a high flying Liverpool blew them up with a 3rd minute goal from Takumi Minamino and braces from Mo Salah and Firmino with Henderson and Sadio Mane also getting on the score sheet.

4 Chelsea 2-5WestBrom

Though the Baggies didn't escape relegation, they will look back on this win at the Stamford Bridge where Matheus Pereira and Callum Robinson each got a brace and a goal from Diagne meant Chelsea conceded five goals at home since October 2011 against Arsenal not forgetting the Baggies threw a 3 goal lead to eventually draw with the Blues in the reverse fixture. 

3 Man Utd 9-0 Southampton

Man Utd ran rout of the Saints who suffered an early blow when Jankewitz was shown red after a horrible tackle on Scot McTominay .Goals from Cavani, Rashford, Wan Bisakka, McTominay, Fernandes, James, and a brace from Martial with an owngoal from Bednarek who was unfortunate to get a second yellow card late in the game.

2 Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea 

Arsenal did head into game on a seven winless run and Mikel Arteta's selection of a youthful side paid off as Arsenal outplayed Chelsea in every department and grabbed the opening goal from Lacazate courtesy of a penalty and a Granit Xhaka free kick out Arsenal two goals ahead in the first half. An early long range from Bukayo Saka out Arsenal three a head before Hudson-Odoi scoring late for the visitors.

1 Man City 5-0 Everton

Man City looked to end their campaign on a high and bid farewell to City legend Kun Aguero in style and it didn't take long as City got themselves two goals from Gabriel Jesus and Debruyne. Foden got City's third early in the second half. On 65 minutes, Aguero was introduced and it took him just 6 minutes to find the net and added a second one shortly hence surpassing Rooney's record for a most premier league goals for a single club taking his tally to 184 goals.
