Brentford promoted to EPL after 74 years

 Brentford have won promotion back to the Premier League since 1947 after edging past Swansea in the playoff finals after Wembley. Thomas Frank's Brentford beat the Welsh club 2-0 to secure their place in the Premier league joining champions Norwich and second placed Watford

 Brentford started the game on a high and took the lead after 10 minutes when Swansea keeper fouled the on lashing Mbeumo and a penalty was awarded which Brentford top scorer Ivan Toney converted. The second goal came on 20 minutes after a brilliant counter attack which was finished off by Emiliano Marcondes. The Bees🐝🐝🐝🐝 narrowly missed a third when Toney's attempt smashed the crossbar.


Swansea tried to come back into the game but star striker Jordan Ayew's effort could only be an attempt. Swansea's chances of a comeback further dealt a blow when J.Fulton was shown red. 
 The Bees have achieved promotion after 9 unlucky times in the playoffs. The Bees were quick and updated their bio on their Twitter account.
